DF366

Wolf DF366 Dual Fuel Range Service

Most common issues on this model

  1. Burner will not light or keeps clicking
  2. Oven slow or short of temperature
  3. Burner flame wavers or goes out
  4. Strong gas smell, call at once

Wolf built the DF366 as a 36-inch Dual Fuel range between 2002 and 2020, giving a wider cooktop of sealed gas burners above an electric convection oven. Owners usually slot it into a long counter run or hang a hood over it in a kitchen that sees real cooking.

The wider top does not change the architecture: one shared control board still manages ignition at the burners and the heating of the oven. Our first questions are therefore whether one burner or several are affected, and whether the oven is misbehaving too. A single stubborn burner points us to its electrode and burner head, while trouble on both sides sends us to the board and its wiring.

As the ranges age, we spend time on connector condition and cleaning around the ignition parts. A written price is always given first, and our workmanship carries a 30-day warranty.

DF366DF366 questions
What is different about the DF366 compared with the smaller DF304?

The DF366 has the same Dual Fuel layout, gas burners over an electric convection oven, but a wider 36-inch cooktop. Both share a control board for ignition and oven heat, so troubleshooting follows the same logic.

Only one burner on my DF366 keeps clicking. Does that mean the board is bad?

Not usually. One stubborn burner more often means a dirty head or a worn electrode beside it. If several burners or the oven misbehave together, the board and wiring move up our list.

Does the DF366 oven heat with gas?

No. The oven is electric convection, which is what makes the range Dual Fuel. Gas serves only the cooktop burners, so an oven that runs short of temperature is an electric heating question we handle separately.
