On Wolf gas burners with a DSI board, such as the GR range, SRT rangetop, and newer DF griddle, charbroiler and French top, a slow blinking CFH light means ignition lockout. The board tried to light the burner twice, with seven seconds per try and 40-second purges, and no flame was proven. Turning the thermostat off resets it. Note the exact code, CFH light slow blink, and when it first appeared, since that helps us narrow things down before we arrive.
1. Turn the thermostat or knob off to reset the lockout. 2. At any hint of gas odor, leave the home immediately and phone the gas utility from outside. 3. For a rangetop, check that the burner caps are seated and dry. 4. Try again once. If the light slow blinks again, call us.
It means the DSI board tried to ignite twice and failed. Each try is about seven seconds with a 40-second purge between. Then it locks out.
Turn the thermostat or knob off. That clears the lockout. If it returns on the next try, stop and call us. A short description of what you saw helps, and the repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
No. If you do, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside. Then call us, and we will give a written price before any work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
