Wolf CSO convection steam ovens in both the 24-inch and 30-inch sizes display E111 when they detect an operating system issue involving the control board. That board runs the oven software, so a problem there can stop the whole cooking program. The code appears, the oven stops, and the controls may lock or restart repeatedly. You may also see the display reboot on its own.
1. Shut the oven down and let it cool. 2. Cut power at the breaker for a minute before restoring it. 3. Wait while the display starts up. 4. Try a short empty cycle. 5. If the code returns, do not keep restarting the oven; call us and leave the panels in place.
Possibly, since the code is described as an operating system issue. We check whether a reload clears it or whether the board has to be replaced, then quote either route in writing.
A reload or board replacement may return the oven to default settings, such as the clock. Those are easy to set again afterward, and we show you how if needed.
If the oven works normally, you may wait briefly, but the code can return at any time and stop a cycle. We suggest booking soon so you are not left without a working oven.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
