On Wolf convection steam ovens such as the CSO24TE/S/TH and CSO30TM/S/TH with the legacy knob control, Demo-Modus means demonstration mode is on. The oven shows its controls and display but does not heat or steam as normal. Owners see Demo-Modus and may think the oven is dead, when really it is in a showroom setting that needs to be turned off. Turning it off restores normal cooking.
1. Turn the oven off. 2. Wait a minute, then switch the range's breaker off for two minutes and back on. 3. Check whether the display returns to normal. 4. If Demo-Modus stays, call us and we will switch it off properly. Please do not try random key combinations.
Demo mode lets the oven display its functions for showrooms without heating. Nothing is broken. It needs to be turned off so cooking works again. We switch it off in minutes.
Usually by an accidental key sequence or because it was left on from display or installation. We can switch it off during a visit. It is a quick job.
A breaker reset can help in some cases. If it does not, turning off demo mode takes the right sequence on your control, which we can do quickly.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
