Code 0222 appears on Wolf dual fuel DFxx50 ranges from 2020 on, for example the DF36450G/S/P and DF60650CG/S/P, when the bake element DLB relay is shorted in the left oven. The relay reads as closed instead of switching normally. You will see 0222 on the display and the left oven may not bake until it is checked. The right oven is not the one this code names.
1. Press OFF and give the left oven time to cool down. 2. Turn off the breaker, count to sixty, and restore power. 3. Run a gentle test bake and look at the display for 0222. 4. If the code is back, do not keep baking in that cavity. 5. Phone us; the elements and wiring are for a technician to handle.
Plainly, the bake element DLB relay is shorted in the left oven. It names one circuit in the left oven, so the other oven on a double-oven range may carry on working normally.
We advise against it. Because the circuit reads closed, the oven may heat when you do not expect it. Turn it off and call us before the next cycle.
We test the circuit to see whether the part, the wiring or the control board output is responsible, then explain what is needed. Nothing is done before you approve the written price in hand.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
