This one affects Wolf convection steam ovens, including the CSO24 and the touch-control CSO30, CSO2450 and CSO3050. F3 covers E25, a short in the climate sensor, and E26, a break in the climate sensor. A blocked exhaust duct, or a blocked duct to the sensor, is also a listed reason. The oven cannot read cavity humidity properly, so the cycle stops and F3 appears.
1. Let the oven cool completely. 2. Wipe the cavity and look at the exhaust opening for food debris or grease, without pushing anything into it. 3. Run a short empty steam cycle to see if the reading clears. 4. If F3 shows again, stop cooking and schedule a technician.
E25 is a short in the climate sensor and E26 is a break in it. The oven shows F3 for both. A blocked exhaust duct, or a blocked duct to the sensor, can produce the same code.
You can look for visible debris at the opening and wipe the cavity. Anything deeper requires pulling the oven out, so we handle it. Never probe the duct with tools while the oven is warm.
Without a working climate sensor the oven cannot control steam correctly, so results suffer and the cycle will keep stopping. Book a visit instead of repeating cycles.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
