On Wolf CSO convection steam ovens, including the CSO30 series, E45 with F8 means actuator relay K3 is stuck. The official causes also list the element or relay board as damaged. The oven shows the pair and stops, because a relay that will not release can leave a heating or steam load switched on.
1. Cut power at the oven's breaker. 2. Leave it off for a few minutes, then restore power. 3. If E45 / F8 clears, run a short test. 4. If it comes back, stop using the oven and call us. Do not remove any panels.
Both pair with F8 and name a stuck actuator relay. E45 is relay K3 and E46 is relay K4.
The listing names the element or the relay board as damaged. We test both so you do not replace the wrong one.
We treat it as such. Keep the oven off until a technician has checked the relay.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
