On Wolf gas burners with a DSI board, such as the GR range, SRT rangetop, and newer DF griddle, charbroiler and French top, a fast flashing CFH light means DSI safety lockout. The board saw flame without a call for heat, a valve feedback mismatch, or a problem in the flame-sense or CFH circuit, and it locked out the burner for safety.
1. Turn the thermostat or knob off. 2. Should you smell gas at any time, get out of the house and call the gas utility from outside. 3. Wait a few minutes, then switch the breaker off for one minute and on. 4. Try the burner once. If the light fast flashes again, stop and call us.
It means the DSI board has gone into safety lockout. The board detected flame at the wrong time, a valve feedback mismatch, or a sensing problem.
Turning the control off and cycling power may clear it. If it locks out again, do not keep trying. Call us, because a gas valve or flame-sense issue needs testing.
If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside. Otherwise the lockout is the safety system working, and we will diagnose and quote first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
