On Wolf DFxx50 dual fuel ranges from 2020 on, such as the DF30450/S/P and DF36450G/S/P, code 3311 means the upper thermal cutout (TCO) is open. A TCO is a safety device that opens when the oven cavity gets too hot, and the control reads it as open. You will see 3311, and heating in the upper oven stops until the condition is resolved.
1. Turn the oven off and let it cool for at least an hour. 2. Remove foil or pans that block vents or the oven floor. 3. Toggle the breaker off for a minute and back on. 4. If 3311 returns after the oven is cool, stop using it and call us.
It is a thermal cutout, a safety switch that opens at high temperature. Code 3311 says the upper one reads open, so the control stops upper-oven heating.
Common reasons are poor airflow, a cooling problem, or a failure in the cutout itself. We check airflow and the cutout circuit to see which, then quote before work.
A reset only clears the message. If the cutout has opened for real, heating will not resume safely. Call us rather than testing repeatedly. You see the written price first, and we tell you the result of each check.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
