On Wolf L Series legacy wall ovens made before serial 16000000, such as the SO30F/S and DO30U/S, STONE, Bake Stone In or No Bake Stone appears when you start self-clean while the accessory bake-stone heating element is plugged into the rear receptacle. The oven will not run self-clean until that element is removed. It is a reminder, not a breakdown. Take the accessory out and the cycle can begin.
1. Turn the oven off and let it cool completely. 2. Wear oven mitts and unplug the bake-stone element from the rear receptacle. 3. Remove the element and the stone from the cavity. 4. Close the door and start self-clean again. 5. If the message stays with the element out, call us.
The bake-stone accessory element is plugged into the rear receptacle, which blocks self-clean. Remove it to run the cycle. The message shows because the stone element is plugged in at the back of the oven.
No. The oven is protecting the accessory from self-clean heat. Once the element is unplugged and out of the cavity, the self-clean can run. Let everything cool before you reach in.
Then the receptacle or the control may be reading wrongly. Call us and we will check it, with a written price before any work. Do not force the plug.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
