On Wolf M Series wall ovens such as the SO30TM/S/TH, code 2930 points to the relay board conversion circuit. The board has detected an error in the circuit that converts signals between the relay board and the rest of the control. The display shows 2930, and the oven may stop heating or ignore new settings until power is cycled. The controls may still light up, yet cooking commands are not carried out until the circuit is repaired.
1. Stop any cycle and give the oven time to cool down. 2. Shut the breaker off, count out two minutes, and turn it back on. 3. Run a short Bake to see if the display stays clear. 4. If 2930 comes back, keep the oven off and call; the relay board is behind panels that should stay closed.
It is the part of the relay board that translates signals between the electronics and the loads the oven switches. When it reports an error, the oven cannot be sure its commands are being carried out.
It can appear to after a power reset, but it tends to return because the board has detected a real error. Treat a repeat as a repair need rather than relying on resets.
Usually the relay board is the first part we test. We confirm which board is to blame with measurements before quoting, so you only pay for what the oven needs.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
