On Wolf M Series wall ovens, with models like the DO30PM/S/PH, 6410 is an inter-module communication error: one of the oven's internal electronic modules cannot exchange data with another. Related codes 6510 and 6610 describe the same kind of problem, with 6610 being a monitor-level message. The oven may stop heating, freeze its display or ignore button presses. Settings may reset.
1. Switch the oven off, then shut its breaker for two minutes. 2. Restore power and wait until the display is fully on. 3. Try the oven on a simple bake setting. 4. If 6410, 6510 or 6610 appears again, call us. Please keep the control panel and its wiring closed.
They happen when two electronic boards inside the oven stop exchanging data. The oven shows 6410 because it can no longer be sure each part is doing its job.
They are listed as the same kind of communication problem, and 6610 is a monitor-level version. We treat all three as a link between modules that needs testing.
A momentary power glitch can clear it, but an intermittent connection can bring it back. A repeat should be diagnosed. Note any other codes you saw alongside it.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
