On Wolf legacy dual fuel ranges, including the DF484CG and DF606CG, ERR 0E means a power relay is sensed as closed when it should be open. In other words, the control believes the oven element circuit is still connected to power. The cause can be the element circuit itself or the relay drive circuitry. The display shows the code and heating may continue.
1. Turn all knobs to OFF. 2. If the oven still feels hot with no cooking set, switch the range breaker off. 3. Leave the breaker off and the door closed. 4. Do not restore power to test it. 5. Call us for a visit.
If the relay is shorted closed, an element may still be energized with the knob off. Keeping the breaker off removes the risk until we inspect it.
It could, which is why we advise not running it. The control is flagging that it cannot switch power off normally. If the oven feels hot with every knob off, that is a clear sign to leave the breaker off.
Soon. It is a safety matter, not a convenience issue. We will schedule a visit and quote the price in writing before any repair. Please keep the door closed and the breaker off until we arrive, and describe what you noticed when you phone.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
