Wolf WC422418 Chimney Hood Repair
Wolf made the WC422418 as a 42-inch pro wall chimney hood, a hood that belongs to the Pro Ventilation 2003–2008 family. A WC422418 is mounted to the wall, so the cooking line below it decides how hard the hood works, so heat and cooking vapor reach it every time the burners run.
Nothing about a hood from the Pro Ventilation 2003–2008 series is new anymore, so a noisy fan, a dim light or a sticky switch is ordinary wear rather than a surprise. Before touching anything we run the hood through every speed and light setting, and any repair we complete is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
Because the WC422418 predates the PWC422418, we confirm each part against the model plate before ordering anything, which keeps the quote honest.
Sometimes, but not reliably, so we match the part to the plate on the WC422418 before anything is ordered, and we confirm the fit with you before we quote anything.
Often yes, because buildup or a tired bearing makes a fan louder, and we listen on every speed to separate the two, and the finished repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Yes, the lights, the switches and the speed control are all part of the same visit as the blower check, which also helps us bring the right part for the job.
