Wolf W302718 Hood Repair Service
Anyone with a 30-inch pro wall hood on the wall may be looking at a W302718, and it is the earlier generation of the PW302718. Wall mounting is how the W302718 was meant to be installed, flush above the cooking line, and the lights and switches live in the greasiest zone of the kitchen.
A hood made between 2003 and 2007 has now been working for close to two decades, and a hood that seems weak is often only clogged before anything is truly broken. Our first look goes to the fan wheel, the speed control and the light sockets, then we tell you what we found and quote the repair in writing before any work starts.
The model plate on the W302718 tells us which version we are holding, and we read it before ordering parts, so the quote reflects a part that actually fits.
Some parts may carry over, but we verify each one against the model plate on your W302718 rather than assume, and that check is part of every visit we make on this model.
Grease on the fan and aging in the speed control are the usual reasons a hood has slowed down over the years, which is why we test first and quote second.
The model number from the plate, or a photo of it, is the most useful item, along with a note on when the trouble began, and our work comes with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
