Wolf MD30 Microwave Drawer Service
The MD30 is the 30-inch version of Wolf’s MD drawer microwave, offered since 2014. A wider drawer gives you more room, and like other drawer microwaves it is built into cabinetry and opens by sliding toward you.
Service on a drawer starts with the slide. We look for debris in the track and for any drag as the drawer closes, then check that the position sensing agrees with where the drawer is. If the drawer behaves and the food still comes out cold, our attention turns to the high-voltage side. Because the MDD models use drop-down doors, we confirm which one you own before ordering any part. The price is written before work starts, and our workmanship warranty lasts 30 days.
It is a drawer. In Wolf's naming MD stands for the drawer, while MDD adds a second D for the drop-down door. That difference changes both the parts and how we test.
Check for anything in the track, then call us. If nothing is blocking it, the slide, drive or position sensing is falling short, and the control will not run until it sees a full close.
Yes. The drawer and timer can run while the heating side has stopped working. We test the heating circuit with the proper equipment and quote the repair in writing before replacing parts.
