On Wolf MWC24 and MC24 convection microwaves, L0 F is a normal message during preheat. It shows while the thermistor reads below 100°F, which is typical at start-up from a cold cavity. As the oven warms, L0 F gives way to a rising temperature. Owners see the message early in a convection cycle and may take it for an error.
1. Let the preheat run; L0 F should change as the temperature rises. 2. Keep the door closed so heat is not lost. 3. Do not add food until preheat finishes. 4. If L0 F stays for a long time and the unit never warms, call us.
It means the thermistor reads below 100°F during preheat. That is normal at start-up and goes away as the oven warms. Seeing L0 F narrows the search considerably, so there are no surprises on the bill.
Only a short time at the start of preheat. The display should climb once the cavity heats. If it stays put for many minutes, there may be a heating issue.
Not for a brief L0 F. If the unit stays at L0 F and never gets warm, call us and we will diagnose it with a written price first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
