On Wolf microwave drawers such as the MD24TE/S, MD30PE/S and MD30TE/S, plus the MWD24 and MWD30 series, ERROR appearing 16 seconds after you press start points to the AH sensor. The drawer runs briefly, then stops and shows ERROR. Owners notice the timing: it happens every cycle at about the same moment, even with a simple cup of water. We match it to your exact model, which is why a visit starts with a check.
1. Open the drawer and remove anything blocking the cavity or vents. 2. Wipe moisture and food splatter from the cavity and drawer seal. 3. Try a short run with a cup of water in a microwave-safe bowl. 4. Switch the breaker off for a minute and on again. If ERROR repeats at 16 seconds, call us.
On MD and MWD drawers, ERROR after 16 seconds points to the AH sensor. The drawer starts normally, then the control stops the cycle when the sensor reading is not accepted.
It can clear a one-time glitch. If ERROR returns at the same 16-second mark, the sensor circuit needs testing and a reset will not repair it.
The drawer stops itself, so it is not heating unchecked. Still, avoid repeated attempts. Call us and we will test the sensor and quote the repair in writing.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
