Wolf GM15TF/S Griddle Module Service and Repair
Two heating elements share one plate in the GM15TF/S, each with its own control. Installed in a separate cut-out beside a cooktop or another module, it has its own supply and controls, and a framed Transitional top.
That two-control layout is useful when something goes wrong. If one half stays cold while the other cooks normally, the trouble is confined to that half’s element or its control, and we can set the working side aside. If both halves lag, a shared supply or a control common to both becomes more likely.
Uneven browning at a steady setting is a hint worth passing along. A plate that has slowly lost output on one side often browns pancakes unevenly long before it stops heating altogether. We test each element on its own, give you a written price before we replace anything, and cover our work for 30 days.
Often yes, because each half has its own control. We would still test it, since a shared supply could also be involved. You receive a written price before any repair.
We check each element's output and its control, then the supply to the module. If one element is weak, replacing just that element is usually the plan.
It can be. A slow loss of output on one side shows up as uneven browning first. We measure each element and tell you whether anything needs service.
