On Wolf CSO convection steam ovens, in the 24-inch and 30-inch CSO series, code E105 points to an operating system issue tied to moisture on the control board. Because the oven electronics decide when to steam and heat, damp on that board puts the whole program at risk. Typically the oven stops responding, the code stays lit, and a restart may only work for a short time.
1. Switch the oven off and let it rest until it is cool to the touch. 2. Use a dry cloth on the door and the front panel. 3. Keep the door ajar for a while so the cabinet can air out. 4. Turn the oven breaker off for sixty seconds and then restore it to let the controls restart. 5. If the code is back, stop using the oven and call us.
The official description just names moisture. Steam can reach the electronics through a worn seal, a leaking tank, or poor venting. We look for the entry point so the same problem does not return.
Please do not point a hairdryer into the oven or the panel. Heat applied that way can spread moisture or damage parts. Let the oven air out with the door open, and leave anything inside to us.
It is not a safety alarm, but the oven should rest until inspected. A damp board can behave unpredictably, and repeated attempts to start the oven may make the damage worse.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
