On Wolf convection steam ovens such as the CSO24TE/S/TH, CSO30TM/S/TH, CSO2450TE/S/T, and CSO3050TM/S/T, the message Diagnostic mode is on means service diagnostics have been turned on. It is not a breakdown. Owners see it after the mode was started by an accidental key sequence or a past service visit, and normal cooking may be blocked while the oven is in this mode. Leaving the mode restores the normal display.
1. Turn the oven off using the normal key. 2. Take the oven off its breaker for two minutes, then turn it on again. 3. Check the display for the normal clock. 4. Should the message come back, give us a call. Please do not keep pressing key combinations to try to exit.
No. It means service diagnostics are active. The oven is working, but it is in a mode intended for technicians, so cooking may not be available.
Usually a power reset exits it. If the message stays, call us and we will take the oven out of diagnostics. Our visit is short.
If a panel key is sticking, it can. We check the panel during the visit so the oven stays in normal mode. We check this at every visit.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
