On Wolf dual fuel DFxx50 ranges and Pro induction IRxx51 ranges, such as the DF30450/S/P and IR36551/S/P, the oven knobs flash 000 after a power outage. It is not a breakdown. The knobs keep flashing until the clock is set or a knob is turned, and the oven is still usable in the meantime. Nothing needs to be repaired for this message.
1. Set the clock on the display, or simply turn an oven knob. 2. Check that the 000 stops flashing. 3. If power cuts keep happening, look at the breaker and the house supply. 4. If 000 keeps flashing after the clock is set, write down when it started and call us.
Power was interrupted, and the knobs flash 000 until the clock is set or a knob is turned. On these ranges that is normal, and it clears as soon as you respond.
Yes. The oven is still usable while 000 flashes, so you do not have to wait. Setting the clock simply stops the flashing and puts the display back to normal.
If 000 flashes without any power outage, or comes back after you set the clock, the supply or control may need checking. We give a written price first and warrant our workmanship.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
