On Wolf Legacy E Series wall ovens like the SO30PE/S/PH, Error 07 0 33 means HSWD Active, Should Be Inactive. The control's safety watchdog circuit is signaling at a time when it should be quiet. Because that circuit guards heating, the oven may stop and keep the code on the display. Because the middle digit is a fixed 0, this message belongs to the whole control, not one cavity.
1. Turn the oven off and wait 30 minutes. 2. Turn the breaker off for one minute, then back on. 3. See whether the display starts clean. 4. If Error 07 0 33 returns, stop using the oven and call us.
The display uses the label HSWD for a safety watchdog circuit. We keep it as printed. The code says it reads active when the control expects it inactive.
They are opposites. Error 07 0 33 says the watchdog is active when it should be inactive. Error 07 0 34 says it is inactive when it should be active.
The oven stops heating when its own safety check disagrees, which is the protection working. We still recommend a visit rather than repeated restarts. The code gives us a good place to start.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
