If your Wolf 24-inch E Series wall oven (the SO24 or SO2450 line) shows E06, the oven has decided its relay board is not working correctly. That board switches power to the heating elements and other loads, so the oven may stop heating or turn off in the middle of a cycle. Expect the display to hold E06 until the oven is reset.
1. Switch the oven off and let it cool completely. 2. Turn its breaker off for a minute, then back on. 3. Try a short Bake. If it heats normally, watch for a repeat. 4. If E06 comes back, stop using the oven. Do not pull the oven out or remove covers, since the board sits near line voltage.
The oven's own check says the relay board is defective. Because the board switches the heating, you may see no heat or a cycle that ends early.
We recommend against it. A relay board that is struggling can switch loads at the wrong time, so it is better to have it checked before the next long bake.
They also point at the relay board, but they are separate codes. We read the code you see and check the board and its wiring before we quote.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
