Code 6020 on Wolf M Series wall ovens, such as the SO30TM/S/TH, and on current E Series ovens like the SO3050TE, reports an RS485 network error at the UIM, the user interface module. Code 6030 is the same error. The display and the oven's other modules have stopped talking, so you may see the code, a blank or frozen screen, or controls that do not respond.
1. Turn the oven off and switch its breaker off for two minutes. 2. Switch it back on and wait for the display to start. 3. Do not press buttons repeatedly while it boots. 4. Try a simple bake. Whenever 6020 or 6030 comes back, call us. Please do not remove the control panel yourself.
It is the wiring method the oven's internal modules use to send data to each other. Code 6020 says that link is not working between the display module and the rest.
No. It is documented as the same error as 6020, so the same troubleshooting and repair path applies. It also helps us to know whether the screen was blank, frozen or showing only the code.
A power reset can restart the modules and re-establish the link. If the code keeps returning, there is a real wiring or module problem that needs a technician.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
