On Wolf M Series double wall ovens, including the DO3050PM/S/P, code 3922 reports a wiring error in the lower broil bank. The control found a problem in the connections to the lower oven broil heating circuit. The display shows 3922, and the lower cavity may lose broil or other heating modes while the upper oven keeps working. The upper oven has its own circuits and usually keeps running.
1. Turn the lower oven off and let it cool all the way. 2. Trip the oven's breaker to off, leave it two minutes, and flip it back. 3. Use the upper oven to confirm it still runs normally. 4. Leave the lower oven unused if 3922 returns, and call us. Opening the oven back to check terminals is not safe.
Wolf wall ovens keep a separate broil bank for each cavity. 3922 points at the lower bank, so the upper oven can work normally while the lower one reports the wiring error.
The wiring checks are similar, but access to the lower cavity can take longer. We quote the exact repair in writing before we start so there are no surprises.
If it runs and shows no code, it is fine to use. If any code appears there too, stop and tell us, because a shared relay board could be involved.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
