On Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO3050TM/S/T and DO3050PM/S/P, code 2230 means the relay board could not finish calibrating its RTD circuit, the path that reads the oven temperature sensor. The control cannot trust that reading, so the oven may refuse to heat or stop a cycle already underway. The same 4-digit table applies to 2019 and newer SO3050 M ovens.
1. Turn the oven off and let the cavity cool completely. 2. Switch the oven breaker off for two minutes, then back on. 3. Set a plain Bake at 350 F and watch whether 2230 returns. 4. If it does, stop using the oven and call us. Please do not open the back or side panels yourself.
We advise against it. The relay board could not calibrate the temperature circuit, so the cavity may not match the setting. Food can scorch or stay raw, and an oven that runs hot is a safety concern.
Sometimes the message clears for a day or two, which tells us the calibration check is borderline. It usually returns, so a technician should test the sensor circuit and relay board before the problem grows.
If we can confirm it is the cause and have the part with us, yes. We test first, give you a written price, and only then start the work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
