On Wolf CI induction cooktops from 2015 onward, such as the CI304T/S and CI365C/B, code 03 means continuous sensor activation. The control area is sensing a touch that never ends, and you hear a continuous tone. Water, a spill, or cookware resting on the touch controls is the usual reason. The cooktop may ignore your settings until the area is clear.
1. Switch every zone off. 2. Remove pans, cloths, and utensils from the control area. 3. Wipe the glass dry with a soft cloth. 4. Wait a minute, then touch the controls again. 5. If code 03 returns on a clean, dry surface, call us.
Code 03 means the touch sensor thinks a control is pressed all the time. Water or a pan on the controls is the usual cause.
Often yes. Turn the zones off, remove anything on the controls, and dry the glass. The tone should stop. Spills and damp cloths are the usual reasons, so turn everything off before you wipe the glass.
If the code returns on a dry, clear surface, the sensor needs service. Call us and we will quote the price before starting. Our technician can test the sensor and the glass area, and we put the price in writing first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
