The lower oven in my DO30U/S does not heat but the upper does. Why?

Each cavity has its own element, sensor and relay. We compare the two sides, test the lower parts, and a LOWER RELAY message points to that oven's relay.

Can one door lock on my DO30U/S fail by itself?

Yes. Each cavity has its own lock for the self-clean cycle, so one can stick while the other works. We release it safely and test the latch motor and switch.

Should I stop using both ovens if one fails?

Usually the working oven is fine to use, but if there is an error code or a burning smell, stop both and call us. A shared control board could be involved.
