Wolf CI365T/S Induction Cooktop Help
Most CI365T/S cooktops we visit are in main kitchens, where the thirty-six-inch glass top with transitional styling gets cleaned several times a day and sits close to heavy cookware.
Pan detection is how an induction zone decides to heat, so a zone that ignores a good magnetic pan is a pan-detection or coil problem rather than a cookware problem. Per-element coils and pan detection mean the trouble often stays in one zone. A pan that was accepted last month but is ignored today usually points to that zone’s coil or sensor, not the pan.
Expect us to test the zone you are worried about, then the control panel and the power supply feeding the cooktop. We hand you a written price before work starts, and we cover the finished work for 30 days.
Normally we can, since most parts are reached from the top or under the surface. We tell you in advance if the cabinet below limits access to the electronics.
Usually one visit. We test the pan, run each of the five elements, read any code and check the controls, then give you a written price before we replace a part.
Harsh abrasives can scratch the surface, and liquid that seeps under the edge can reach the electronics. We recommend a soft cloth, and we check the edge seal when we visit.
