Wolf CG152TF/S Sealed Burner Service
Wolf’s CG152TF/S puts two sealed burners under transitional framed styling on a fifteen-inch footprint, so it most often sits in a perimeter counter or on a kitchen island with a hood overhead.
As a gas top ages, residue builds around each burner base and the spark electrode, and the result is clicking that continues after ignition or a flame that will not settle to a simmer. On a cooktop with mechanical knobs the switch under each knob takes the abuse. Grease and heat work into it over time, and it can stop sparking or stop passing gas as it should.
We start by watching the burner light, then clean and inspect the cap, electrode and port, and check for gas flow at the knob. You get a written price before any work starts, and the completed repair has a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Often yes. A clogged port or dirty burner base lets the flame lift or go out at low settings, and we clean and check the burner before looking at the valve or the gas flow.
Not the burner side. The sealed burners and knobs work the same way, but we remove the grates and caps carefully so the trim and the top stay free of scratches.
With regular cleaning they last many years. Most service calls on a CG152TF/S are about spills reaching the electrode, port or switch, not about the burner itself wearing out.
