Wolf CT15I/S Induction Repair
The CT15I/S is a fifteen-inch induction unit in Wolf’s CT line, made from 2005 to 2014, which makes it one of the oldest in the family. It is meant to be a second cooking area, so we often find it on an island, in a bar prep counter or beside a larger cooktop for extra capacity.
Because it is small, a single failing zone or a tired touch panel affects the whole cooktop at once. A unit this age may have a panel that ignores touches or a sensor that no longer detects pans, and either can look like a dead cooktop even when the rest of it is fine.
We start with a pan test, then read any code and run each zone. You see a written price before any repair, and our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Usually, yes. Wolf made it from 2005 to 2014, and we test the zones and panel first, then give you a written price so you can compare it with replacement.
Place a magnet on the pan base to check it is magnetic, and center the pan on the zone. If that does not help, the sensor for the zone needs a test.
A heat or sensor protection circuit may be reacting, or the power feed may be unreliable. Note whether a code appeared and tell us, and we will start our testing there.
