On Wolf CT electric cooktops (CTE and CTE-2) such as the CT30E/S and CT36E/S, No Indicator means power line cycling stopped the unit: the display is blank, the relays are open and no error is recorded. Cooking resumes if power returns within 5 seconds. On earlier CT induction cooktops (CTI), it is a power loss: the control turns off the display and shuts off every burner.
1. Turn all burner controls off. 2. Check the cooktop breaker in the panel; switch it fully off, then on. 3. Check that other kitchen lights and outlets have power. 4. If the display stays blank with the breaker on, call us. Please do not open the unit or test wiring.
When power is lost, the control cannot show anything. The unit logs no error, because it simply stopped. On both CTE and CTI models, the burners shut off with it.
On CT electric models, cooking resumes if power returns within 5 seconds. After a longer loss, you start the burners again manually. Our technician starts from No Indicator on the screen, which keeps the repair focused.
That points past the house supply to the cooktop itself. Call us and we will check it, quote in writing, and repair only after you approve.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
