Wolf L Series Code F1: Door lock not sensed

What F1 means

On Wolf L Series legacy wall ovens with the Invensys control, such as the SO30F/S or DO30U/S, F1 means the control did not sense the door lock or unlock switches within 60 seconds while driving the door lock motor. It can also appear when the door state changes during heating, such as the door slamming shut. Legacy Dual Fuel ranges show this as ERR 01.

1. Turn the oven off and open the door gently if it opens. 2. Check that nothing blocks the door or latch. 3. Close the door softly, not hard. 4. Cycle the circuit breaker after a one-minute wait. 5. If F1 returns, call us. Do not force the door.

What does ERR 01 mean?

ERR 01 is the Legacy Dual Fuel range version of F1, with the same door lock meaning. It is the same lock problem with a different display.

Can slamming the door cause F1?

Yes, a door that slams shut during heating can change the lock state and trigger it. Close the door gently. Closing the door softly also protects the latch.

Is a locked door dangerous?

Not itself, but forcing it can break the latch. Let us open and test it. Please avoid forcing the door, since the latch can be damaged.
