Code 9010 on Wolf M Series wall ovens, such as the SO3050TM/S/T, reports a touchpad sensor error. Related codes 9020 and 9120 are listed as touch sensor errors. The control sees an unusual reading from the touch layer, so the screen can react to touches that did not happen, ignore real taps or lock up while showing the number. The screen still lights up.
1. Turn the oven off and let the glass cool. 2. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep liquids away from the edges. 3. Cut breaker power for two minutes and restore it. 4. Try a few gentle taps after startup. If 9010, 9020 or 9120 returns, call us.
They are listed as touch sensor errors in the same family as 9010. We troubleshoot all three the same way, and we read which one your oven shows when we arrive.
Close, but not identical. 6C10 is loss of communication with the touch sensor, while 9010 is an error from the touchpad sensor reading itself, so the two are related but not interchangeable.
A touch layer that reads incorrectly can register taps that never happened. If cleaning and a power reset do not help, the sensor needs service.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
