On Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO3050TM/S/T and DO3050PM/S/P, code 6030 is a communication error on the RS485 network that links the user interface module (UIM) to the rest of the control. It is the alternate form of 6020. The touch controls and the main board stop talking, so the display may freeze, go blank, or ignore your presses.
1. Take food out, switch the oven off, and wait for it to cool. 2. Cut power at the breaker for a full two minutes before restoring it. 3. Try a basic Bake and check that the display responds to touch. 4. If 6030 returns or the display stays dead, leave the oven off and call us.
It is the user interface module, the control panel you touch. 6030 says it is no longer communicating over its network link to the main board. The oven may keep its last state or shut down.
6030 is the alternate version of 6020, so both describe the same kind of communication error. We inspect the interface wiring and both boards when we arrive.
It may bring the display back for a while. If the link is damaged or a board is failing, the code returns. A repeat after a reset is a sign to book service.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
