E62 on a Wolf 24-inch E Series wall oven, such as the SO24 and SO2450 families, carries the same official meaning as E61: under voltage in the electrical power supply, or an electrical calibration error (see E63). The control measures the supply, finds it too low, and stops. The oven may restart after a reset but stop again. It may appear at the start of a cycle, when the heating asks for the most power.
1. Turn the breaker off for a full minute, then back on. 2. Avoid running other large appliances on the same circuit during a test. 3. Check whether the code returns on a simple Bake. 4. If it does, call us and leave the oven wiring alone.
Supply voltage can dip when other loads start, so the oven may only complain at certain times. That makes it hard to catch without a test.
It can. The oven lists a calibration error, tied to E63, as a cause. E63 is the code to read about. It lists the same calibration cause that appears in several supply codes.
Try one short test. If E62 returns, wait for service. Do not repeat the test many times. Please wait for service before running it again, because repeated starts add stress to the control.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
