What PROBE? / ? PROBE means

On Wolf L, E and M Series wall ovens and DF and IR ranges, such as the SO30TM/S/TH and DO30PM/S/PH, PROBE? or ? PROBE means the oven is not sensing the probe. Either it is not seated fully or the wrong probe is in use. The CSO and SO24 probe is black and is not interchangeable with the others. The display shows the message. It is usually an easy fix at the probe.

A damaged probe cable or a dirty plug

1. Unplug the probe and let it cool. 2. Wipe the plug and socket dry and clean. 3. Push the probe in until it seats fully. 4. Check that it is the correct probe for your oven. 5. If the message stays, bake without the probe and call us.

Why does my Wolf oven say PROBE?

The oven is not sensing the probe. Check that it is seated fully and that it is the right one for your model. Check both before anything else.

Can I use any probe?

No. The black CSO and SO24 probe is not interchangeable with probes for other Wolf ovens. Using the wrong one can trigger this message. Match the probe to the oven first.

What if a correct probe still is not sensed?

The probe or its socket may be worn out. Book a visit and we will test both, and give a written price before any repair.
