Wolf Legacy E Series wall ovens, the DO30TE/S/TH and SO30TE/S/TH among them, display Error 07 x 5 when the MDL relay reads as shorted. The x identifies the cavity. Instead of opening on command, the circuit looks closed. That leaves you with a code on the screen and a function that the oven may refuse to run. It reports a circuit state, not anything you did while cooking.
1. Cancel the cycle and give the oven 30 minutes to cool. 2. Check that the door shuts squarely and the racks sit flat. 3. Turn the breaker off for a full minute, then restore power. 4. Run a brief test bake and watch for Error 07 x 5. 5. If the code returns, leave the oven off and book a visit. Panels and wiring are for a technician only.
The control tested the MDL relay and found it shorted. That is a circuit reading, so the oven is telling you where to look. The x tells you which cavity reported it, which helps us start in the right place.
Waiting for the oven to cool is fine, but a code about the MDL relay will not fix itself. If it returns after cooling, plan on a visit rather than working around it.
Many visits are done in a single trip, when the part is on the truck. If something must be ordered, we explain that before leaving and you decide whether to proceed.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
