F30 on Wolf CSO convection steam ovens, such as the CSO24 and CSO30 series, is the display label for E101 and E102. The official meaning is that the oven has lost communication with its control board (E101) or with its relay board (E102). Owners see F30 and the oven stops responding. The cause is inside the electronics, in a connection or a board, not in anything the owner does.
1. Switch the oven off at the breaker for a full minute. 2. Restore power and wait for the display to start. 3. Should F30 come back, keep the oven off and phone us. 4. Do not open the casing or touch any board or cable.
The control board and relay board talk to each other. F30 means one of them stopped answering, so the oven cannot run. On site we look at no communication with the control board and no communication with the relay board, then quote the repair in writing.
Occasionally, when the link was briefly upset. If F30 stays, a board or connection needs checking. Starting point for us is usually no communication with the control board, with the price written down before any work.
We test the link and each board, then give you a written price. We replace only what the test confirms. We would also rule out no communication with the relay board before recommending anything.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
