Wolf ranges come in dual fuel, all-gas and induction versions, so one appliance can hold burners, a griddle or charbroiler, and one or two oven cavities. We test the cooktop and oven sections separately.
In the order we see them across Houston homes.
The Wolf range lineup includes dual fuel models with gas burners over an electric convection oven, all-gas ranges, and induction ranges. Larger widths add a second oven and a griddle, charbroiler or French top in the middle of the cooking surface.
A range in a Houston kitchen takes a beating: boil-overs that work into burner bases, grease carried by humid air into knob switches, and outages that hit the oven controls. Coastal homes also see corrosion on burner caps and igniter tips sooner.
We begin by lighting every burner and watching the flame, then check igniters, valves and the oven’s sensor, elements and board. You get a written price for the repair before we start, and gas-line work outside the appliance goes to a licensed plumber.

Turn the knobs off, open windows and leave the house if the smell is strong, then call your gas utility from outside. Once the utility has checked the line, we can inspect the valves, connections and burners on the range itself.
The spark module keeps firing when it cannot sense the flame or when moisture and spills reach the switch behind the knob. Drying it out sometimes clears it; otherwise we test the igniter, switch and module and replace only the part that fails.
Yes. On a dual fuel model the burners run on gas while the oven uses electric elements, sensors and a control board, so the two sections are diagnosed independently. A working cooktop does not rule out an oven repair.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
