Wolf MD24 Microwave Drawer Repair
The MD24 is a 24-inch drawer microwave from Wolf’s MD line, which has been part of the lineup since 2014. As with other built-in drawers, it is normally set into cabinetry so the whole unit slides out instead of swinging a door.
A drawer microwave depends on the drawer reaching its fully closed position before the control allows a cycle, so the first things we check are the slide, the track and the position sensing. If the drawer is moving well and the cycle still runs cold, we turn to the heating circuit. Models with similar names in the MDD family have a drop-down door instead, so we confirm the exact model first. We quote in writing before work begins and back the repair for 30 days.
MD means drawer and MDD means drop-down door. If the whole microwave slides out toward you, it is an MD. The label inside the cabinet opening or on the drawer frame confirms it.
A drawer that is not fully seated is the first suspect, since the control wants confirmation of a close. We check the track, the slide and the position sensing before the heating side.
The model number from the label, what the drawer does when you press Start, and whether it runs cold. That lets us bring the right tools and give an accurate written price.
