French Top Repair for Wolf FM15TF/S
A solid French top plate replaces burners on the FM15TF/S. It occupies its own 15-inch cut-out next to a cooktop or another module, and it has a dedicated gas supply and controls. The framed Transitional top is raised around the plate.
Where the plate is cold tells us where to look. A cold center suggests the burner under the plate is not delivering, while one side that heats and one that does not points at distribution of heat or at the burner on that side. Describe the pattern when you call, and we bring the right tools.
A module that stays hot after you switch it off is a different matter, and we would rather you keep that appointment than put it off. Cooks who use this plate for long, slow work will also notice a plate that heats slowly before it fails completely. We quote the work in writing and cover our repairs for 30 days.
An uneven plate can come from the burner beneath it or from how heat is delivered across it. We inspect both, then tell you what we found and the price before starting.
Some residual heat in a solid plate is expected. If it keeps heating, or the controls seem to have no effect, call us and avoid using it.
Usually it can, since it sits in its own cut-out with its own supply. We confirm access on arrival and give you a written price first.
