Wolf CT36G/P Gas Cooktop Repair
Wide and gas-fired, the CT36G/P is a /P trim variant of the CT36G/S, a 36-inch cooktop from the legacy CT series, produced from 2002 to 2010. With several burners, one that misbehaves is easier to track when you can name its position.
We examine burner ports for clogging, check the igniter and the valve, and tell you which one is responsible. A flame that is yellow or lopsided is often a dirty port. A burner that will not stay lit leans toward the ignition or valve.
A steady gas smell is a safety matter, not a repair: leave the area and call your gas utility. We quote in writing before any work and cover our repairs for 30 days after the visit.
Give its position, such as rear right, and what it does: no spark, spark without flame, or a flame that goes out. That detail helps us bring the right parts.
Not the burners or valves themselves. The trim affects fit and appearance, so we note it when ordering any top-side parts and match them to your label.
Light cleaning of the burner cap is fine when the cooktop is cold and the gas is off. For clogged ports or ignition trouble, call us and we will quote it first.
