Wolf CT30G/P Gas Cooktop Service
The CT30G/P is a /P trim variant of the CT30G/S, a 30-inch gas cooktop from the legacy CT series, produced from 2002 to 2010. After this many years, its valves and burners show the wear you would expect.
A knob that spins loosely and a valve that turns hard are not the same problem, and neither is a burner that clicks without catching. Telling us which one you have helps us bring the right parts.
If you smell gas, leave the room and call your gas utility first. For anything else, we give you a written price before work and cover our repairs for 30 days.
For a /P model, we confirm the trim from the label before we order a part, because the top-side details differ from the S version. If a valve or igniter has to be ordered, we tell you the lead time beforehand.
It stands for a trim variant of the CT30G/S. We add it to the work order so that the correct parts are matched to your cooktop at ordering time.
Sometimes, but dampness or residue near the burner can also cause it. We clean and dry first, then test the igniter, and we quote any part before ordering.
Leave the area, avoid switches, and call your gas utility right away. Once it is safe, we can inspect the cooktop and price the repair.
