Wolf CI30460C/B Induction Cooktop Repair
The CI30460C/B is a four-element, 30-inch induction cooktop in Contemporary trim, with the control graphics printed straight into the black glass. It usually sits in a counter cut-out beside a wall oven or under a hood, and most of the ones we visit have simply been cooked on every day since they went in.
The 60 in the model number places it in the later CI generation. That matters to us before anything else, because the control board on this generation is not always a drop-in match for the one in the earlier CI304C/B, even though the two look alike on the counter.
We start with the element that misbehaves: swap the pot to another zone, then try a different pan on the same zone. That separates a cookware issue from a sensor or coil issue in a few minutes. You get a written price before any work begins, and our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Usually not. Every element has its own coil and detection, so one zone can fail alone. If all four quit together, we look at the control or power side instead of an individual coil.
We would not assume that. The 60 generation can use different control boards, so we confirm the full model number on the rating label before any part is ordered, and we tell you the price before we proceed.
Not necessarily. Moisture or residue on the surface is the easy cause, and we rule that out first. If a clean, dry surface still does not respond, the control board is the next place we look.
