If a Wolf Legacy E Series oven such as the SO30CE/B/TH and SO30PE/S/PH shows Error 07 x 4, the control has detected a shorted right convect relay. Read the x as the cavity number. The circuit looks stuck closed rather than switching normally. Expect the code on the display and possibly a stopped bake, convection or related function. It names the circuit only, so you do not need to guess at the cause.
1. Press OFF and let the oven cool completely. 2. Make sure the door closes fully and nothing is wedged in it. 3. Switch the oven breaker off for one minute, then back on. 4. Start a short bake and see whether Error 07 x 4 returns. 5. If it comes back, stop using the oven and call us. Please do not open panels or test wiring yourself.
On Legacy E Series wall ovens the code says the right convect relay is shorted. Treat the x as the oven cavity number. It points at one circuit the control checks, not at the whole oven, so other functions may still work normally.
The oven may let you, but the control no longer trusts the right convect relay. We suggest holding off until a technician has checked it, since a circuit that reads wrong can behave unpredictably.
Not necessarily. The wiring or the part itself can cause a right convect relay reading as easily as the board. We test first, then tell you what is needed and what it costs in writing.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
