This code is for Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO30TM/S/TH and DO30PM/S/PH. It reports that the upper cavity went over its allowed temperature during regular cooking rather than self-clean; the lower cavity version is 5122. The control cuts heating and displays 5121. You may notice a bake that stops early or an oven that cools down with the number showing.
1. Turn the oven off and open the door a little once it is safe to do so, letting it cool. 2. Make sure vents and cabinet gaps are clear and no foil lines the cavity floor. 3. Reset the breaker for one minute. 4. Try a low-temperature bake. If 5121 shows again, stop and call us.
5021 happens during a self-clean cycle, while 5121 happens during ordinary cooking such as baking or roasting. Both mean the upper cavity got hotter than allowed.
It can clear the display, but if the oven overheated for a real reason the code returns. A repeat means a technician should check the sensor and heat control.
The lower cavity uses 5122 for the same condition. If your double oven shows both, tell us when you book so we plan for the right parts.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
