Wolf M Series double wall ovens such as the DO30PM/S/PH show 4832 when the lower MDL is not detected. The control cannot find the motorized door lock on the lower cavity. The display shows 4832, and the lower door may not lock or release correctly, so self-clean and other locked cycles can be blocked. The upper oven has its own lock and its own code, so it often keeps working.
1. Shut the lower door fully and check the seal for debris. 2. Flip the dedicated breaker off, wait two minutes, and switch it on again. 3. Try a basic Bake in the lower oven and see if 4832 clears. 4. If not, skip self-clean and call us. Pulling the door will only strain the latch.
Each cavity has its own lock. 4832 is for the lower one, so the upper oven can run normally. We still check both while we are there.
No. A working lock is required for self-clean, and the control cannot find the lower lock. Using Clean could be unsafe, so please avoid it until we have repaired the lock.
It depends on whether the lock motor or a connection is to blame. We diagnose first, give you a written price, and begin work only after you approve it.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
