On Wolf M Series wall ovens, including the SO3050TM/S/T, code 4131 means the control cannot detect the upper right convection element. When it tries to power that element, no load shows up on the relay board, as if the element were disconnected or open. The display shows 4131. Convection modes that rely on it may refuse to start or end early.
1. Cancel cooking and let the heat die down before you do anything else. 2. Move the oven breaker to off for about two minutes, then return it to on. 3. Run a Bake and a Convection Bake to see which modes still heat. 4. If 4131 returns, stop using the affected modes and call us. Never touch the element or its wires.
The control expected the upper right convection element to draw power and saw nothing. That can mean the element has burned open, a connection has loosened, or the relay board is not sending power. Only a test tells which.
Modes that do not use the upper right convection element may keep running. We still suggest limiting use, because the cause could be a connection that is getting warm. Call us if the code returns after a reset.
Often, but not always. We test the element and its wiring first. If the element is open, we replace it; if a terminal is loose, we repair the connection and quote the work in writing.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
